Adoni Public School was established in 2010 as a mission of the Jireh Ministries Trust, New Delhi (a non-profit organisation registered with Govt. of India).

The school is co-educational and provides English-medium education from Nursery to Class VIII. It is recognized by the Government of Odisha.

Located on a lush 3.46-acre campus in Daspur, Golamunda, Kalahandi, Odisha, the school offers a serene and inspiring learning environment. The school is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and aims to develop students into ambassadors of positive change, prepared to build a better tomorrow.

VISION & MISSION

The aim of any good school should be to provide the best possible education to its students. This therefore, is the aim of APS (Adoni Public School). Our primary aim is to develop in the student qualities of integrity, honesty trust tolerance, and compassion; to promote a spirit of enquiry to foster a scientific temper within the bonds of humanism; to help the student to become a meaningful part of his environment and to see that courage and industry have their due reward. The pursuit of excellence encouraged at APS rests on the positive belief that every man has it in him to produce work, the quality of which can be described as first class.

Towards this end the school endeavours to provide a large and dedicated teaching staff with a wide range of skills and interests, a varied and wide choice of activities – academic, aesthetic, and athletic – an environment enriched with the excitement of discovery, challenge and competitiveness and discipline based on the belief that responsibility comes before freedom.

We have to our country’s credit the rich legacy of leaders in the past who have dreamt big and dreamt ahead of their times as a result of which India today is a force to reckon with globally in many fields. Basing on these realities I too have a vision and a commitment for APS, Daspur and assure you that I will go out of the way to realize this Dream.

The word 'school' comes from the Greek word 'skhole' which originally meant 'leisure' It gradually evolved and today this physical entity has been accepted as the primary learning platform in every corner of the world. The Educational scenario has undergone a profound change and the catchword today is 'holistic learning'. APS, Daspur aims at igniting, empowering and educating students and bring about an overall improvement in quality of life and the contemporary society. The goal lies in transformation of the energetic and enthusiastic youngsters in to enlightened and empowered youth ready to face the challenges of the world when they emerge out of the nurturing hands and care of their mentors.

The vision and mission of APS, Daspur is to kindle young minds and enable each child to develop a sense of individuality, learn the art of decision making, instill leadership qualities, hone life skills and incorporate some basic qualities that relate to the development of one's inner self like modesty, humility and sobriety.
